To be able to work in France, there are two types of exams to prove your language proficiency in French: connaissance du Français (TCF) and DELF / DALF tests

It is important to mention that the Medical Association does not usually require a certificate or diploma, but an interview in French must be carried out to assess the level of understanding.

In case of you decide to take an exam, the minimum level required is B2 in the TCF or DELF B2 diploma.

In this link you can consult the European framework of languages where the classification and requirements of each level are explained.
